Is there any current tool that would provide assistance with in-race pit strategy? I set up different scenarios pre-race, but cycling through them, or changing fuel levels/tire compounds/damage while driving leads me to have a massive reduction in performance at best, or crash at worst. I race in VR with no HUD for maximum immersion, and trying to manipulate the pit menu with a headset on and racing wheel to wheel is nearly impossible for me. I do use voice commands in Crew Chief, but I've never been successful in getting macros controlled by voice to work at all. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Simulator Controller with AI-based virtual assistants (race engineer and race strategist) This could help. I have not tried it, apparentrly it needs too much configuration for my taste, but perhaps it is for you. I would also like to hear about other tools so I second your request.
