    Just created this. All you need to do is make a copy of it and fill it in! I have yet to add all cars and liveries, but the formulas should help.

    Thanks for taking the time and effort chaps, this looks interesting and I will be keen to give it a go when able.
    Sure it will help lots of users.
    templates/files/scripts/skins ect not my thing but may give this a go.

    Didn't really work for me just copy/pasting. looks like i need to go through the .xml and "make good" to work. looks like to many " " in lines.

    Maybe i did something wrong? great table though :) saved a heap of time, looking forward to tweaking the xml now.

    thanks for the time it must have taken to make the table and for sharing it.

    got a SuperV8 grid sorted, now just a few days fiddling with values :).
    Please @reiza for the love of sim racing make the front, rear & back seat windows editable on this car. ;)

    A first try to recreate the '91 season with the F Classic Gen3.
    It's probably not perfect but it works.

    As I do not have the beta version, I just wanted to ask if there really is just one file for all driver names of the game? As I have many livery mods, this will get quite confusing pretty soon.

    Yup, just one custom ai file.... but it can include as many or as few customized cars as you want. You can also include any / all livery mods (or not). I'm pretty sure this is just an interim solution until Reiza figures out how to expand the Custom Championship functionality to include customizing drivers / grids.

    To make life a little easier I made a powershell script, It will ask you where your custom xml files is and copy or overwrites your custom_ai_drivers.xml file in de "%Documents%\Automobilista 2 Beta" directory
    I can now save my custom files with a name related to the skinpack used in a dedicated directory, the script will rename it and put it in place

    Rename de extension txt to ps1

    @gian What will happen if you use Custom AI in a multiplayer lobby (and add the AI drivers to the Race) ?
    Do they collide if the users in the lobby use different AI files for the same skinpack, Is the host dominant, does every client use its own (impossible I think) , or will they not be used at all in multiplayer ?

    One more question as a non-beta user: Let's say, I would just alter the driver names and the aggression values. In this case, the drivers have all other values from the original game, don't they?

    Yes the values you don't add in your xml come from the game

    @gian If I give All Formula Classic Gen3 classes the same values, will all cars perform the same, or is there still difference in class ?
    If so are these factors known or should I make a custom AI file and put all values to say 0.5 do some test races and calculate the factor by myself ?

    Say I will make Senna the fastest, is it done by giving him the best values, or should I add a factor because he is in a slower-class Car

    If you use custom liveries, it is easier to get the names from the xml in override directory to avoid typo's
    You can copy and paste

    questions.......

    Is it possible to add an field to the XML defining if the car is used in the starting-field or not, or can the game get a feature to only use the cars that are included in the custom_ai_drivers.xml ?
    Since we can use the Custom_ai_drivers files, it would be nice if I could select what AI-cars are added to the field.
    This is Handy for testing and creating a starting-field for a class that has more cars in the game than Players defined in the custom_ai_drivers.xml
