I didn't see an introduction section or chat, so if this is in the wrong area I'm sorry. Hi, I'm Sugar I've been sim racing since 2018. I first started with Assetto Corsa and F1 2017 if you count that as a "sim". Eventually I ended up moving on to ACC and then eventually IRacing for more competitive racing. I kept buying F1 games for a good few years until 2021 however, it just was way to expensive for me to continue justifying it as worth the price. I've been waiting to try out Automobilista 2 for a long time as I heard only good things about the first game. For a good fea years I was on a Logitech G920 but the wheel's gears started forcing it to go off center, and I somehow went through two sets of pedals in 3 years. My shifter was also on its last legs by this point. In autumn of 2020, I ended up buying a Fanatec CSW2.5 with Formula Rim. I also purchased a set of Fanatec Clubsport Pedals V3 and a Next Level Racing F-GT Rig (Biggest mistake of my life, do not buy this rig). I know this sim originally got a lot of flack for using the same engine Project Cars used, however the moment I started driving, that immediately proved the negativity wrong. I did have a bad start however with a bug on the game relating to setting up controls, forcing me to use custom wheel and putting the game in fullscreen to fix the issues. The forums here were a big help for me figuring out the problems and got me a bit interested in Ambs2's modding as I do some modding for Assetto Corsa. Anyways hope to have some good chats on here and possibly do some community races.
