Is it possible to change i/g steering wheel ?

So i am currently converting something from rfactor to AMS
One problem however is the car i am converting has a shonky steering wheel.
Its shaped like a oval and not circular @ all so i was thinking the stock car steering wheel would be a perfect swap.. How would i perform this if its possible ?

 

Are you for real? Who cares about a steering wheel showing? You have one in your hands you don't need one on the screen!

 

Of course u can but u need a bit of experience with software like 3dSimEd or 3dsMax

 

Agreed with you @Supa, why a lot of "drivers" use 2 steeringwheels (one real and one virtual) is beyond me...this is something i never could understand.
