I’d like to blend in more exhaust sound into the cockpit.

The only thing I know is that you can delete some sounds if they are annoying, like the TC-whine of the V10 F1

I had an idea of creating a simhub module that could use game telemetry to overlay sounds on top of the game for extra immersion. This could be used to play rattles and squeeks when going over bumps, break squeal in certain scenarios, or sound effects for rev limiter etc.

It would probably work - somewhat.;)
But I dont think that controlling this via the telemetry output will be able to destinguish between the different sound sources.
But I admit an interesting idea :)

I just want to hear the external cam sounds with 1st person cam... even if it's unrealistic as sht, would be fun as hell.

When you have a mod you can, base game stuff different as it's locked away, you'd have to make a mod version of it...

In the mod cars there's a file called the csdbin where you can tune a lot of things... It's in hex so you'll need to hunt down the translations... But various things can be adjusted from there...

Once we can import FMOD sounds it'll be a lot more inspiring... It's possible for pCARS 2 but I'm not sure if anyone has managed it for AMS2 yet...
