It happened a few times, mostly while loading a race or during the transition between race and qualy as a hickup, this was the first and last time it happened during a multiplayer race and was the first time it let to a game freeze. another example
I had this strange bug yesterday. Got disconected from the server i was and after that when tried to go to the MP screen again, it would show white like that! Ps.: AMD 280X - V.16.4.2
I noticed this issue once in a triple screen setup, it seemed related to running SweetFX in combination with more recent NVIDIA drivers, fixed in that case by reverting to the native driver of the video card (was a GTX770). I´m not sure if that would apply with the newer 9 series or AMD cards, but if this proves to be an ongoing issue you could try switching SweetFX off, that might at least help pinpoint the source.
Ok, Thanks. I'm not gonna change my drivers right now cause i don't know what it will do with other games. I'll try running the game a while without Sweetfx.
I had this happen for the first time today. Also Classics. At the end of a race, I hit escape and it went white like this and eventually crashed to desktop. I haven't yet tried to recreate it again. Running Sweetfx.
I think I found the source of my white screen problem. It has happened a couple of more times - always when I hit escape to return to the monitor screen. Once the game just crashed to desktop without even showing the white screen first. If I remove my overlay_monitor_small.ini from the configs folder the problem seems to disappear.
