Hello all. Very much enjoying the way AMS2 is going so much so that I want to buy another copy to race against my son with. However, I use 4G router for everything and I get lots of disconnects or lag when it comes to gaming. I want to create a LAN instead but I can't get my head around it at all. The server cfg file and everything seems really difficult to understand and I can't even get to the https 9000 page either as if wants a username and password. On steam it says it's a LAN game - can you Reiza give me a simple instructions on how to set it up as if I'm a child. Thanks!
Hi again - is setting sportsplay up different than doing a dedicated Server! When I use assetto LAN it's more or less just stick in your ports to the assetto server and I've got a LAN running easily. I understand there is another thread with dedicated server help but because I want to do a LAN only it's throwing me and I'm totally stuck. I think a simpler guide is needed tbh even a short instructional video as I was/am attracted to AMS2 because of the LAN option - and of course the racing.
