EDIT: I have interacted with this dev in the LMU discord. He is indeed talking about iRacing and not other sims like AMS2. Apologies for the OP title, I found this on reddit with Gamer Muscle asking how the OP knew it was at iRacing and I thought it may be a general comments on other sims. But it is not.
Well on reddit the thread I'll assume you took this from clearly says it's talking about iracing. Why twist reality to create drama? Taking someone's post that's clearly a reply to something else and removing that context is pretty bad but that's reddit for you. When you then take that post again and try and remove the little context that remained and then invent something "He's jealous about AMS2!" that's very low.
Gamer Muscle asked if the dev was responding to iRacing, to which I did comment on yes. If you read my OP I say that I'm pretty sure they are talking about iRacing but Gamer Muscle is right in that I don't actually fully know. I just glanced at the LMU discord to see and it comes after quite a bit of chain of comments after the iRacing debris video update.
I've updated my OP, I've interacted with this dev briefly in the discord and he is indeed just talking about iRacing not AMS2 or any other sim. Feel free to move this to off topic or delete if this is inappropriate to have here. Apologies for the title, I cannot change that. Sincerely thought it may be a general dig at other sims rather than purely through iRacing when I read Gamer Muscle's comment in the reddit thread. I'm not familiar enough in the LMU discord to know based on a glance at this dev how this was meant to be targeted towards.
