Logitech G29/G Hub Auto Rotation not working (again)

Another monthly Logitech G29 G Hub thread.

First time reinstalling AMS on a clean windows install. Had other sims up and running great before trying AMS.

Auto Rotation is not working, and even trying to set rotations manually results in a very wrong ffb, with a large center deadzone and only a rubber band feeling to the wheel. The game is nearly unplayable unless I turn ffb off.

Game Version 1.5.3r
G Hub version 2020.6.58918

All default settings in G Hub, actually tried reinstalling it a few times, deleting the device driver through device manager before reinstalling, running AMS and G Hub as admin in every combination, and checking and unchecking auto rotation and restarting the game.
