Hi. I've been having this issue for a very long time with AMS2 where I open the game and I get really low FPS until I load a race, close the game and then reopen it. I have tried different video drivers, disconnecting my wheelbase and pedals, reinstalling, verifying file and a lot more. This started happening out of the blue. No Windows update or any system changes were made before the issue appeared; I just loaded the game one day like I always did and I had massive frame drops until I loaded a race and reopened it. If I don't load a race then it won't be fixed when I reopen it. This is very annoying and sometimes I just jump to any other sim to avoid having to open the game twice. Also, see how Steam acts as if the game had been updated when I launch it the second time. No other game has this issue. My specs: A320M-k (yes, it works perfectly) 6600xt 5600x 16gb 3200mhz 1tb SSD Simagic Alpha Mini (SimPro manager) I tried deleting SimPro and the Fanatec driver, as well as disconnecting my wheelbase and pedals just to see if it was interfering. Please help!
That's unrelated and has to do with steam updating rating stuff. A few points: Please deactivate UDP frequency in your AMS2 system options Make sure that AMS2 is running full screen and is actuall focussed (on some systems there are weird things happening with the game running not in full focus). You can try alt-tabbing the game once (if it doesn't react, open steam overlay with shift-tab first and then alt-tab out and into the game again). Also worth checking for vsync and frame limiter being of any influence. Are you using MSI afterburner/Riva Tuner server?
The only thing I have left to try is deactivating UDP frequency. I already went through everything else you said. I had uninstalled MSI Afterbuerner and RTSS as well to see if it helped, but sadly it was all the same.
