Hi All, I've been using MSI Afterburner for tweaking and monitoring performance and would like to share my findings with all you fine freaks. Summary is I get best performance when using Afterburner to: - Auto OC my 3080 to create a custom core clock curve -Create custom fan curve so 3080's fans are pinned at 100% constantly while gaming -Cap my frame rate at 86 FPS Method for testing: One (first) lap at Monaco, last grid possition trying to keep the same distance to second last car. After one run, exit race, and do it all again. I do two seprate runs because the first run is always glitchier (perhaps due to things not being in cache?). I only really compare the results from the secord run. Interestingly 1% lows look better with track detail set to high instead of medium. Perhaps it's just an anomaly, would have to do more testing, but w/ Afterburner it logs everything. Would love to hear your opions on this! Hope this helps some of you reach you buttery smooth VRing!
