Hey guys and girls, Driving multiclass multiple times in a single race without any trouble at all. Now I want to setup a onlinerace (Daytona roadcourse) with 2 or 3 classes. I can't seem to find the settings to make this happen. Anyone willing to point me in the right direction? Many thanks
There's a setting in lobby options. Not sure exactly where right now but will fire it up tomorrow to check and will post. However... When racing MP with AI, every time I tried with a mate and we choose cars of a certain class we're the only ones in that class. All AI cars are places in other classes. Don't know if that's fixable
Yip. Any idea why when human and AI are arranged in classes human can't share a class with AI in multi class?
I shared some incomplete info. I find those settings when I start an online race on my own PC. But I tried to configure a multiclass race (2 classes) on a remote (dedicated) server. There is no such setting visible, not even an opponents setting. If I start a dedicated server myself, I cannot get that setting in game also.
That depends on how the server is setup, if controlsgamesetup is set to true, you can change it only through the webconfig of the server, if controlgamesetup is false, you also need to set this through the webconfig, if u want to set it through the game, set controlgamesetup to false, and start the game with adding the parameter -selectds Then you go to multiplayer, click create lobby, set it all up the way you want, click continue, then there will appear a list with dedi servers, click your server and it will be hosted on the server.
@Roy Niessink Thanks. I can now set up my dedicated server just like you explained and found out that the server I would like to setup, which was an other one, works also this way. Big thumbs up
