Should (or can) the multiplayer chat box be visible in the cockpit when in VR during races? If find I can see others joining the server and their chat but can only chat myself when he race has ended and we’re back to having no car control. Perhaps this is normal, and I know I can’t chat anyway during a race in VR (not without a lot of macros anyway) but it’s annoying to have to wait so long before replying to people at the end of a race. I keep having to explain I’m in VR
I just press the T key and then pray that my fingers are aligned properly while typing, and then I press Enter… there have been quite a few accidents. But people seem to forgive that I sometimes nusakugb nt fubgers
i have the chatbox off during driving most of the time its annoying if it pops up in VR cuz it usually blocks the view onto the left mirror and i couldnt care less about people joining/leaving
Texting while driving is one thing, but not being able to send a message after you've crossed the finish line is a bit of a bummer, if people are asking you questions in chat and you have to wait until the last person has completed his Nordschleife lap and the host has clicked "Continue" so that it's finally possible to type from the chat window in the Lobby
