Hello, I have set up a couple of profiles for different wheels that I have but it seems whenever I switch them I need to rebind everything again, even though it shows all the correct inputs are showing. Am I possibly doing something in the wrong order or not doing something correctly? I have a Simucube 2 Pro and the wheels are connected by usb (not wireless) so they are standard game controllers. Thank you very much for any help
Its should be pretty simple to swap the different controller profiles with a batch file. The current controller profile is called´: default.controllersettings.v1.03.sav
Sorry for my ignorance but how do I do that in until I can find a proper fix? Just remove that file and then create another profile and swap between them? Thanks
You can either do it a bit cumbersome manually every time you want to swap. By first rename the "default.controllersettings.v1.03.sav" to as example "orig_default.controllersettings.v1.03.sav". And then rename another former saved profile file back to "default.controllersettings.v1.03.sav". Then the former saved file will be your now used profile. A batch file does basically do the same.
You are welcome. Hehe the only reason I didnt post the content of a simple batch file to automate it is that I allways forget the exact syntax of such a file. and Im too lazy to re-awake my memory about batch files
I am sure everyone is busy @Reiza but is there any chance of getting an idea if I (we) are doing something wrong setting up multiple controller profiles? Thank you very much
If you only are talking about controller profiles then Reiza has allready integrated up to 5 different profiles.
I understand, but when I use my different wheels and load the corresponding profile I have to rebind everything even though all of the bindings are correct
OK - but then I guess that the swapping of the mentioned sav files is the (only) way to go. Personally I have saved different controller and graphic sav`s to allways be able to get back to a former setup
I know, it works for some people but not others. Either we are missing something or there is some kind of bug.
Oh I didnt understand that swapping these files didnt work for everyone. This pic shows my different versions of files. And every time I have swapped it works 100%. But maybe it is because I allways swap ALL 3 files together. The colored ones Not only one of them. OK?
I think what I am going to do is bind buttons to keyboard using Simhub keyboard emulator and then use the same buttons/functions for each wheel. Little work up front but will be easier and never have to mess with profiles after.
