Yesterday my new Fanatec McLaren GT3 wheel was delivered and I was eager to try it in the different racing sims I'm using from which I prefer AM2 for the Nordschleife in VR and GT3 cars.

It didn't take long until I had to realize that it is not possible to make sensible use of all the buttons and options this wheel provides. Especially the rotary knobs for things like traction control or ABS. There is no option to increase/decrease the respective settings.
Also changing these settings is fairly limited on the wheel (High, Low, Off).. nothing in between while it can be done seamless in the car setup

Am I something missing? In case I'm not I'd kindly ask Reiza to add at least the following mapping options

    • Increase AND decrease option for TC and ABS
    • higher resolution for TC and ABS (not only off, low, high) --> preferably a number of custom fixed settings for TC and ABS (the rotary knob can not only be used as a relative encoder but in my case you can change the behavior of the rotary knob to setting 1-12)
    • add a option to map a button to change gear to Neutral (currently it is only possible to map a button to reverse)
Dear Reiza, if you could please implement optimizations in this regard in the near future it would be very appreciated. I'm sure it is doable because Assetto Corsa Competizione has all the options available. But because ACC doesn't perform very well in VR I'd be happy to have the same possibilities in AM2.

Button mapping for TC and ABS is said to be coming. I'll see if I can find the relevant post.

Thank you very much for finding me that info. Glad to hear! I just hope the near future won't be in 2 years ;-)
