Hello everyone, I'm a little late to Automobilista (but have been sim racing since the 80's), but "heck" am I glad I added it to my sim collection over the weekend. I have lots of questions to ask, ranging from additional content (3rd party), triple screen set up etc, but just thought I would pop on, sign up to the official forum, and introduce myself.
I own almost every sim and it baffles me that more people dont play this. Without exaggerating, this is the only sim I lose track of time in because I have such a fantastic time playing it. The cars feel like they have the perfect balance of being on vs over the limit and the feedback is sublime. I read a lot of comments anout this basically being RF1 and it makes me laugh. Similarities are there but this is a whole nother level. The main thing I care about is how the actual driving feels, and the Boxer and the V12 fill every driving need I could ever want.
Agreed it’s an amazing sim. I think one of the things holding it back are the default skins. They would benefit greatly from some decals and real life paints.
