Hi Just installed AMS and wanted to check whether I need to run the Beta version due to having a G920? And if so is there any negatives to doing so considering I am a new user (uneducated in the ways of AMS!) who will likely add some car and track mods. If I don't I presume I would need to set the Steering Range in Logi profiler to match the car I have selected? (Which I have to do in rFactor 2 currently).
No, you don't need to run beta version of AMS in order for your wheel to be supported. You just need to install beta version of Logitech g29 (pretty much the same as g920 so it should work). It's a small file (about 3MB). Here is how to install it: -right click on Automobilista in your Steam library -select 'Properties' -choose the 'Beta' tab (see attached jpg) -select logitech g29 Done Next time you run AMS your steering range can be adjusted automatically (make sure to select it in the game)
