I was signed up for a race @ racedepartment. Between warmup and the race i fiddled with the fuel and was too late out on the grid so i started in the pits. I do know i cannot pass the line before the light goes green. The problem is that there are no pit light. So i had to guess, and i guessed wrong and drove to early so i got black flagged. Is it missing pit light or how am i supposed to know when i can exit the pits?
Yep, it is the second time we have this kind of problems: it happened at VIR a few weeks ago too. Several people missed the start and had to start the race from the pits. Problem was the same: not red light at the end of the pits! You have to wait for the whole field to get passed sector one so it is a pretty long wait, and I have seen most of the people people get DQ. This is really harsh, especially for newcomers! Please Reiza, would it be possible to add this to your looong list of future improvements? Either put pit exit lights on all tracks, or make a less harsh penalty (drive through instead of instant DQ?), or add a clear message on screen? Thanks in advance!
