Hi guys , I apologise for what’s probably really obvious to some of you but I have recently made the switch over to Nvidia and Intel so I am a bit lost with the settings and this is the friendliest forum to ask on. I have a 4080 and a 14700k running on a 120hz 3440 x 1440p monitor and I’m looking for the settings that will give me the best visuals possible. Currently I have everything on maximum settings and turned msaa off and use supersampling set to high which looks fantastic and seems to be locked at 120fps even in storm and dark conditions. Supersampling Ultra dropped the frames to about 100 and 70 in storm conditions. Sorry for waffling but any tips or advice very much appreciated. I came from a 3700x and a 5700xt fyi.
With that setup you can easily run graphics maxed as I'm sure you know. The simplest thing I find gives a better look overall (personal taste of course) is lowering saturation and contrast a lot, especially saturation. I do this through Adrenalin driver but you'll have same options via Nvidia driver.
Yes that’s always been something I did through the adrenaline software or using reshade. I do think the adrenaline software seems better but maybe it’s just a matter of getting used to something different.
This is what I'm using (and some system changes), at the 1:30 mark. Flawless. I was specifically looking for Nvidia settings, the rest you can ignore.
