Currently, whenever I do a timed race, a message saying 'One Lap to go' after the first time I cross the finish line AFTER time has run out. Is there any particular reason for this 'extra lap'? I haven't seen it in any other racing game... usually, the race is finished directly when the leader crosses the line after time has run out...

This extra lap is also usefull if you use full course yellows in online races, it makes unlikely to have a racing ending under yellow if a crash happes close to the end, you'll have a GWC
