Hi all, this car, along with the Caterhams feels very slidy. Is this in need of an update or something. Feels kinda overdone with the grip loss?

The car is likely in need of further polish, but they're fairly slidey:

That video makes me want to go drive it ..
I also need a new steering wheel. My formula v2 is not the right choice for this car lol.

    How do you mean broken?
Have devs confirmed there is a problem with it?

I agree Old Stock seems broken. I love the Opala 79 and 86, and wish I could love the Old Stock with the extra HP. An example of an issue is driving in a straight line (around 4th gear speed) the steering will become increasing unstable if no correction is done. This is happening whether on-throttle accelerating, steady throttle, or gentle throttle lift. I have not experienced this in any other car.

I suspect there is something related with tyre compound. While Opala 79/86 use slick, OldStock are on Steet. And with a lot o tyre slip (around 10-20%) even on straights

OldStock also has a substantially bigger amount of power additionally.

Indeed but what about that tyre slip%

Edit: The vast majority of cars in AMS2 have around 1-2% tyre slip at driven wheels (straigthline) and I agree OldStocks have a heavy bounce RL but 10 times more slip than the average? I really don't know, this is not a criticism but a genuine doubt.
