Hi, Anyone game crashing when selecting options> performance ? This is a new issue for me but I have uninstalled and reinstalled game and folder in documents but when I go to this option game just crash. I turned off steam overlay as well. Win10, RTX 2080 32gb. Game plays but I cannot get into graphics settings at all. Thanks in advance
Try to delete the Automobilista 2 folder in documents. Take a backup of that folder first, zip or copy it elsewhere. The game can not run when you delete the folder and all your setting will be lost.
Thanks but that is what I did too, see I mentioned uninstall game and game reinstalled AMS2 folder in documents. Possibly some setting in NVidia Control Panel. Thanks again for reply ! Sorry I meant I let the game reinstall that folder when I launch it.
why delete. Just rename and this is your backup then Nothing is lost then and as AMS2 cannot find the folder it will reinitialise a new folder with default files.
Yea I did this, renamed the folder. Sorry by saying delete. However I'm at a loss on why the game crashes when I select Performance. Possibly some setting I have initiated in the GPU settings.
Found the problem....NVIDIA created some type of exe for AC which locked my video settings. Deleted the exe, everything normal again. Can't remember how and why it was created. Thank you all who replied to help.
