So recently there has been an update adding the historical endurance pack and historical track pack pt 3, after downloading the update I went in to drive on one of my favorite cars. (Formula classic gen 3 and f classic gen 1). When I was leaving the pits for practice, a car went past me and suddenly my car started to buck and was then launched into the sky. The force feedback was moving erratically. After the car landed one of the tires was weirdly elongated and tyre pressure was displayed as -naninf bar and upon entering third person the car model was see through. Upon leaving and making a new race the car drove fine outside of the pits but there was no force feedback, I've tried restarting the game, different tracks, etc but it never works. It only seems to apply to the f classic cars but I haven't tested it very much
Welcome to our forum! That’s certainly unusual; the update altered/changed some of the physics. Here’s what I recommend: Delete your setups located in: C:\Users\name\Documents\Automobilista 2\savegame\numbers\automobilista 2 Then, back up and delete the tuning/setup folders. Next, launch AMS2, select the F-Classic, and press “Reset Setup” just to be safe. See how the car behaves now. Alternatively, you can also verify the game cache: Right-click on AMS2 > Properties > Installed files > Verify cache. Hopefully, this resolves your issue. If not, feel free to reply. I am happy to help! Marius
Ok will try that later. Thanks for the swift reply Attached here is a video of the glitch Quick Share Took a quick look, couldn't find any other posts, deleted setups, verified files and rested it in game and didn't help
Interesting. I will take a quick look if it happens on my setup. Fclassic Gen 1 or/and 3, and which track? Do you have mods installed?
Yes quite a few, mostly skin packs and all of thunderflash's mods. I do have a f-classic skin and ai pack. I was driving the McLaren Honda mp4/4 livery 1 (prost) imola and jacarapegua. The clip is from imola No issues with any other cars, using thrustmaster sf1000 wheel with t300 rs base. Also using crew chief
I am going to boot up and see how if I get the same thing. I am leaning towards one of the mods interfering somehow, but perhaps F Classic is bugged. Lets find out.
Ok, the only mod I downloaded since last doing f-classic on the previous update was the f1 2012 mod, thank you for being such a big help
@Linkr So first I loaded up test day. All was fine. Then I loaded up raceweekend with Ai. Holymoly. Nearly broke my hand. I will forward this internally immediately.
You're welcome. For now I suggest not driving the MP4 Well, at least not on Imola. I've to test other tracks as well, but it's 2 AM. Edit: The issue is identified. It will be hotfixed soon.
ok, trhing out the v12s in the meantime, thx again forthe quick replies and hopefully quick resolution. best support for something ive found so far. also probably shouldve warned you abiut ffb :/ forgot not everyone has a 4 nm weenie wheel like me lol. doesnt wokr on jacarapegua either so i think its a unuversal issue
Soon. As most of the times Reiza releases a hotfix after a big patch to tidying up important bugs or issues. I can't give a proper timeframe.
Ok thanks, I was doing some racing today in the mp4/4 on the same track and car and didn't run into any issues
It's strange. I tested it today in Canada, Brazil, and Spain. The problem persists with the MP4/4. Will there be an update?
