Hi@all The HF8 from NLR is a good idea, unfortunately it was not well designed. Who doesn't have their butt hurting after sitting on it for an hour? Butt pain and broken cables were the main criticisms of my research into this product. I read that people put an extra pillow on it But then the effects will no longer come across as well. I've only had my HF8 for a few weeks and wanted one because of the warranty First of all use the HF8 "out of the box" but the motors were so annoying to me pressed that I don't give a damn about the guarantee. That's why I came up with something so that this is no longer the case and the HF8 integrated into my racing seat. that has many advantages, Like the usual sitting position, prevents cable breaks if you do it well The effects are a little stronger and, above all, my butt doesn't hurt anymore. The following photos show how I did it, perhaps a suggestion for those interested. "image.1" I carefully opened the seams on the edge and removed the white foam mat. Now you can see everything that is in the HF8. To be on the safe side, I connected it to my PC and tested it. "image.2" now we have the inner workings. tested again, everything still works. "image.3" Out of curiosity I opened a motor housing, there's nothing else inside. "image.4,5,6" After dismantling my racing seat, I cut suitable deletes into the foam and made sure that I didn't damage the cover. The foam in my racing seat is significantly harder than that of the HF8. As a result, my weight is distributed much more over a larger area and no longer on the moors. "image.7" After I had cut all the holes for the motors I added the thin foam pieces of the white mat used and used for the engines. I used these so that they are slightly (2-3mm) above the seat surface of the racing seat and press against the body. "image.8" I then used the white mat to fill it up. I stuffed enough in there to create a slight pressure towards the seat area. "image.9" I then sunk the wiring into the foam. This should prevent cable breaks in the future. "image.10,11" I then covered the whole thing with the thin back of the HF8 (seen in "picture 1") and reassembled it. Instead of gluing, I attached velcro ("image.12"), so that in the future I no longer have to open the entire adhesive if I need repairs (e.g. defective engine) must do. complete!!! The whole thing was a day's work. I'm very satisfied, it works very well, the effects are a little stronger now and my butt doesn't hurt anymore!!! I'm happy. Maybe this will be an inspiration for people who also have a sore butt. If you have any questions, don't force yourself. If that's too much work for you, you should be patient, NLR probably will bring it to market like this.
