Populating multiplayer taking a long time - any help would be appreciated

    I decided to post this in the Help & Support section to see if any of you techie people can help

    So I click on multiplayer and its takes approx. 28-30 seconds to populate the servers. Others I have spoken to say it takes between 10 and 13 seconds for them, so somit is wrong, could be game of PC setting hence why asking for help.

    As advised I turned off Shared Memory and UDP to OFF
    I also went into Stream, settings, In-Game and set the Server Browser Pings to 250 which I read could help.
    I have also verified the games files plus deleted the AMS2 folder in documents and rand the game to create a fresh folder.
    I have a good internet connection 300 download and 40 upload.

    So scratching my head and would appreciate any help

    Putting steam settings back to 5000 will fix it mate

    Go to speedtest.net or so or anything you can test your internet. First disable any applications like Steam. Then run the test. See how high your ping is. When I was on usb-tethering for a week. My ping was 40 in speedtests and it took long to populate the serverlist, and to load other information when joining a lobby. Anyway. You also might take a look into your modem or/and router.
