i can't get a multiclass race in ams2 to work. I am running a timed race with P1Gen2 and GT3 cars and my own car is in the GT3 class. I have verified that customdriverai files exist for both car classes and that the number of ai drivers selected matches the number of ai drivers across both files. I have made sure "multiclass" is selected as race type. "edit grid" has 18 P1Gen2 cars and 13 GT3 cars as AI drivers, minus me that is 31 cars and that is how many cars are selected as ai drivers in "opponent number" and how many exist in the xml files. But when i load it, the pre-race screen shows every car as Gt3 - no P1Gen2s even though that car class is selected and included as multiclass and 18 P1Gen2 cars are selected in edit grid. I have attached both customdriverai files so someone can verify they are formatted correctly. I don't know what order you are supposed to load or select things when creating a multiclass race as this is my first time doing a multiclass race.
The files look fine to me. What names appear ingame, do the AI names for GT3 get applied or do they fall back to the Reiza ones? Can you test if the AI names for P1G2 show up when you're racing single class P1G2
The AI names in my custom ai driver list for GT3 AND P1 get added. But they don't separate by class. all cars are GT3 even though I have the multiclass race set up to use both classes. The AI names for P1G2 show up in single class. I think i fixed it though - by making sure you select manual grid without setting "custom" and the number of cars. Just go to manual grid and set your car numbers there, and it is now showing both car types in the field.
