Problems with the G27 steering wheel after the last update (V1.4.6.4).

After the last update, my G27 is not working properly. The gears don't work and neither does the steering wheel turn in the game. Anyone else having this problem or know how to solve it?

 

I've got similar troubles with my g29. Logitech 'often' give me this kind of troubles and everytime i need to delete documents/ams2 folder to reset my wheel... and this from Pcars1 times....
I use now g-hub but got similar problems with the older software (don t remember name).
Anyway try redefining keys before all.

 

Logitech software is working normally and receiving commands (Porject Cars 2 is working normally). Unfortunately as soon as AM2 updated to (V1.4.6.4) everything went bad.

 

You are right, i got troubles with 1.4.6.1.
No problem with last update.

 

After the V1.4.6.4 update I've seen at least 3 people on the Steam forums reporting issues with their steering wheel, and all from different brands. I'm sure the developers applied something wrong. I hope they resolve this quickly.

 

Hello! Not in my case. I left Windows update disabled, only AM2 updated.

No problems at all with 1.4.6.1

Tried with Vee formula and formula trainer.If there were no visible steering wheel, the FFb would look fine.
But the virtual steering wheel lags when you rotate the real one.
When I use an F3 it becomes annoying because the virtual steering wheel is much later.
I, with the real steering wheel, am at 90 degrees and he is still at 70.
The car takes the corner, but you have the impression that the steering wheel is not there with you.

 

Recalibrated but didn't fix

I have also Rfactor2 and Assetto corsa competizione:no problem with these simulators.AMS only, after 1.4.6.4

Just to keep the thread alive, I've renamed, as requested by CrimnsonEminence, the "Automobilista2" folder to C/documents.Reconfigured all the sim, it is slightly improved, but the virtual steering wheel always lags behind the rotation of the G27.In my opinion the problems start from this update in 1.4.6.4:
-FFB: Fixed missed FFB soft lock in main release builds; Fixed heavy steering under very high loads with Default + profile

 

I really appreciate everyone's help in the topic, but I'm going to take advantage of the fact that I bought a new nvme and I'm going to format my PC to try to solve it because so far nothing has worked. On the steam forums I saw several problems after the last update. I'm going to hope that formatting solves 100% for me. Thank you guys!

 

G29 user here, got no problems with latest update. However, i've set up my wheel using the custom wheel option in AMS2. It was the only way i got it working together with the old Fanatec pedals i'm using. Maybe worth a try?

 

Hi Sims Alabim: I use a custom file for the FFB, but have had problems since 1.4.6.4.

Now it is not drivable with the delay that the steering wheel has.I also tried to visually eliminate the virtual steering wheel.
Even with no steering wheel visible, a lag in response is felt when entering a corner.
I hope they fix it.
AMS2 has great potential.

 

User G27. No problem with the update. If relevant, no MOD or custom FFB installs.

 

No problems on my G29 either. Maybe another silent GHub update bricking wheels?

For those having the problem:in the configuration screen of the racing wheel in the sim go to "configuration".
Assign 50 to the "steering sensitivity" item.
I had it at 100 before and the virtual steering wheel was lagging.
By setting 50 everything is back to normal!
Try yourself and report if it works!
