Profiles wont work when changing out rims.

RE-EDIT......fix did not take after a few days. Problem still remains....will not remember rim when changing from one to another with the custom wheel type. Same as before for me unfortunately.

EDIT: Fixed issue by using "Custom" for the 2nd rim instead of another simucube 2 pro type of "Make".

Using a simucube base with usb connections to the same cable connected to my PC with no hubs.
Or I also use one rim at times with blue-tooth.

Either way when I switch rims, the game will not use preset button mapping for 1 rim after switching out and with game restart.

I have to remap the buttons again even though they show there in the pre-mapped setting for that rim.

How do I change rims on my simucube base and not deal with this remapping all the time on one rim?

 

I have the same issue with my CSL DD. I figured out that you need to change wheel when the base is off to fix it and you can’t do it when AMS2 is on

 

I only get issues when switching being inside AMS2. Maybe the wheel doesn’t need to be turned off, but I’ve had issues

That was the fix for me...Creating a Custom wheel profile and not another simucube "make".
