    1. Dear Reiza Studios, I hope this message finds you well. First of all, allow me to congratulate you on the successful release of your recent DLCs. They have significantly attracted new players and expanded the user base of our beloved sim, as evidenced by the current player count, which is at an all-time high. Your strategy is undeniably effective, and the data supports this.

    2. However, I believe there's an area where we can collaborate to further enhance the game's success: player retention.
    3. As you may have observed from the SteamDB data, there's a pattern that emerges with each large DLC update. We see a surge in players - both returning and new ones - but this enthusiasm tapers off over time, causing the player numbers to dwindle.
    4. To address this, I propose that we introduce events that are directly promoted and sponsored by your team. This could potentially sustain interest between DLC releases, encourage word-of-mouth promotion, and ultimately, bolster player retention.
    5. Consider, for instance, the introduction of Time Trial challenges with enticing prizes, or multiplayer championships with rewards. These could serve as a powerful incentive for players to stay engaged and spread the word about the game, thereby creating a continuous cycle of interesting news and events.

    6. If an official capacity approach aligns with your vision, many of us would be more than willing to participate and propagate this endeavour. Alternatively, if a community-based approach is more suitable, I am a member of the TK Arcade Discord community. We already host events and challenges for time trial and online racing, and would be delighted to collaborate with you on this.

    7. Looking forward to your thoughts on this matter. Thank you for your time and consideration. Best regards,

This is not the circus or a casino. I don't want any prizes, awards, or any gimmicks.

Like almost everyone else, we just need a functioning multiplayer system with daily official race series. That is how people will come to play and stay.

Player surge post new content or update is typical of all sims , and typically it doesn’t last in all sims .

And it’s not true that just having a reliable MP with official daily races is the silver bullet, ( it would help some ) as LMU has tanked in interest after heady high to begin with, the same thing happened with RF2 competition system.

Reiza already have weekly TT events , just not meaningless prizes, because what kind of prizes could they actually offer of any substance that isn’t cash ?

I just feel this game deserves more attention then it gets from the sim community.
I enjoy participating in the official events either way, prizes or no prizes.

Just thought it would be a good idea to keep the players engaged and further promote the content with interesting news between interesting news.

Prizes could range from small steam gift cards to sim equipment.
If it gets popular it could bring in sponsors and partnerships from the sim equipment makers.

It would get the game in the headlines more often. Some people do like prizes, meaningless or otherwise.

Yes, a better online system would be great but we don't have that, so we do as much as we can with the systems we have in place.

so the same few top aliens or otherwise fight over a prize every week.

That’s the reality and most casual players which are the ones that you wish to retain simply won’t see a chance.

we run TT championship in our community alongside normal championship series. it’s more about earning bragging rights and the occasional Opportunity for some chocolate biscuits.

Numbers are consistent and strong , competition comes from knowing your competitors rather than just some random game tag .
so in game championships are probably the best way for reiza to get players to stick . but so often players lose interest if they aren’t in the running for a podium, they don’t have a commitment and can’t seem to just enjoy the racing for what it is .
if results and ranking are the only motivation, your missing the point of what Ams2 offers.

This would not be a weekly thing.
Two or three times a year in between big update cycles.
It doesn't matter who wins or if the same people win. Thats not really the point.

yeah i just don’t think it targets the right user .
only a top few aliens who can easily just drop in on the final day and churn some laps all by themselves .
a temporary blip in players on grand scheme .
it certainly won’t encourage the non aliens who will do the best effort and look at the results and see they are on page 20 and think maybe i’m just bad and can’t drive in this game.
I get the desire to think outside the box but it’s just not going to convert players from there usual ways.

I think they have actually retained lot of players after the last big update, looking at that chart they haven't gone back to pre update numbers, so that's a very good sign, even more so after about 2 months of no updates. Pretty sure the next 1.6 update will see a bigger surge and it will probably retain some more players.

I am not talking about only having a reliable MP system, obviously since there is so much content and other aspects of ams2 to use by many.

LMU is tanking for 1 reason, people are tired of the same few options over and over when they could offer much more with what they have. Just like the rF2 racing on LFM, I got tired of the races they offered. Little diff from one to the next week, and using same thing often or little change in what they offer in car track combo's.

There is a reason why people choose the lessor sim in physics, ffb, and graphics in huge huge numbers.......iRacing!

To me, ams2 has a little bit of everything, but not enough of anything. I would like it to be more than a hot lap quick drive setup as it is now pretty much.
