Afaik the licensing of the engine does not allow them to share dev-like tools with the community. If that's true I doubt there will be mod tools for us in the future
Yes, Bandai from PCars just sold them the engine, but they cannot share the dev tools. Ok, so we can definetely say, for intellectual honesty, that the videogame is NOT moddable. There is no modding for AMS2. So why people here use this word so much, and here there is also a forum section "AMS2 Modding"? @Racinglegend1234 ..."easier to mod". This is not modding. It is "adding cars". In AC you can change the sky textures: that is modding.
There are areas that can be currently modded hence the title can be called as such as custom liveries or AI drivers, FFB, new cars and tracks can be added. There are different levels of modding capabilities and whole it's not AC1 levels for sure it's still possible to inject stuff into the game hence it's moddable in a true, semantic fashion.
Hello, I've deleted a couple of replies/posts about the same question here and there in the forum. I will let this one stand as it's 'informative'. Please refrain from doubleposting, triple posting, etc. Thank you
