Hi guys, let's say I start a race with several random weather slots spreading over the duration of the race. Is it possible that I always get the same weather because the random generator chooses cloud cover three times, for example? Or is a subsequent slot ALWAYS different from the previous one? Thanks in advance. Regards Joerg
You can definitely get 3 of the same conditions, very rare but it's completely random, so you can get 2 slots of rain and 1 slot of overcast or 3 clear weather, etc. However the game does simulate the weather of the region the track is. So you will get less chance of rain in Laguna Seca compared to Suzuka for example even with random weather. What I am not sure and would like to know is if the game simulates the seasons in that random weather, so you would get more random rain slots in whatever the "rainy" season dates are in any given region.
Yes, it’s definitely possible to get the same weather condition in multiple slots during a race. The random generator doesn’t guarantee different outcomes for each slot, so you could end up with, for example, three cloud covers in a row. It’s pretty similar to how random events work in themulligans with slot games—sometimes you get a streak of the same thing, purely by chance. It keeps things unpredictable and makes each session a little more interesting.
