I have about a hundred hours on AMS2 since it came out, not a lot compared with some of you, but I've managed to figure out most things. I am a bit confused on the in-race track map. At the start all the other cars have grey backgrounds in their circles. Then sometimes some of them become red while others are blue. I suspect this has something to do with lapped cars, but it doesn't seem consistent, at least to me. What do those different colored circles mean, anyway? Thanks! And just going to mention that I took the new Revuelto for a 20 minute race against the AI at Laguna Seca, all driving hypercars of different types. I saw a number of AI spin out over the course of qualifying and the race, which is something I don't recall before. And some of the AI seemed to be pretty lost on driving hypercars. Also, I really, really chewed up my tires! Ouch!
The red dots are cars that are a lap up on you, and blue dots are a lap behind (or DNF). Hope this helps
