Hello! Can someone tell me how to find the maximum value for "GridSize" in the server.cfg file? I currently have it set to 28 for Nordschleife_2025. Is that okay? I also tried running my server with 25 class slots, but only 8 classes are displayed when I join. What's the maximum number of vehicle classes a dedicated server can have? Thanks for any help!
Yes, 28 is the limit for that track. You can get the grid size of each track with http://127.0.0.1:9000/api/list/tracks (or your DS IP) Don't know the max num of classes, but doesn't make sense more than 3 or 4 because you won't have enough rivals for each class. You can also leave the class in blank and choose any car/class. Check also the flags value.
"..because you won't have enough rivals for each class." What does that mean? Is there a limit to how many vehicles in each class can drive simultaneously? I haven't noticed any limit on my server.
No, but if you make a multiclass with 8 classes, you probably will have only 3-4 cars per class competing each other.
