    Edit:

I just completely deleted the file with my custom-created seasons and started over from scratch. For the first race, I chose April 20, 2025. The next race was then automatically set to April 27, 2025, and so on.

So it seems it must have been a bug. If anyone is wondering which file contains the created seasons → default.championshipeditor.v1.00

In my last save file, I selected a date and then added new tracks… they always had the same date.

    Good morning,

I am currently creating a season and have a few questions about the different settings regarding the race dates. There are three options to set the date: Current Date, Custom Date, and Standard Date.

Question about the Current Date: I created the championship yesterday, on 14/01/26. Does that mean that each individual race then starts on that date? Or is it just a display issue and the date changes every day?

Custom Date should be self-explanatory; here I define myself when a race should start.

Last question about the Standard Date: What does this date refer to? In my case it shows 12/11/2021. Why is this particular day always selected?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Songan,

The default date is just one that we set to make sure there is always a sensible date to race if the user doesn't want to make an explicit selection. It will typically be the date of a real world major event at the circuit in the year the the track was originally based on. For a new track that will typically be the year of release but for a historic track it will be in the year you see in the track name.

Current Date setting should give you the current date when you start the round so a new round started today in your champ created yesterday whould start with today's date for the race iirc.

The championship session editor shows the current date when you select the current date option because it's shared with the single event mode and that was the existing behaviour. It;s a fair point you raise about it though that it could be confused in championship so I'll raise a task to evaluate some champ specific logic and help text there to make things clearer.
