Race engineer, no sound

Anyone else having issues hearing the engineer? I assumed it wasn't available yet until I saw a YouTube video.
I've tried all sounds at 0 and pit radio at 100 to make sure it isn't just really quiet and I've also tried it both on my turtle beach headphones and my monitors built in speakers.
Subtitles are on so I know he's speaking but just can't hear the little bugger

Apparently they are using an app for those voices on Youtube.

I have up to date version of the game and I could hear Pit, Spotter and Engineer voice. But now I can only see subtitles. Like "Still there", "Cool the brakes..."

This is not crewchief.org application. I know I was hearing the sound but now it's gone.

Anyone?

Hi, it is just me or pit radio not work yet in 2022? I've got just subtitles, but not speech.
(please don't tell me to try crewchief, I used that some times ago but I got terrible stuttering after few laps, so I'm looking for stock engineer).

 

In game pit radio is non functioning.

I won't tell you to use Crew Chief but you may wish to reconsider ruling it out. Many, many people use it without issue, every chance it may now be in a state that is unable for you too.

 

in game spotter would be nice, it's considered an industry standard feature now for new games
