So Ive been on a hunt to find some similar type software to assists with setups, I've found a few things but most ai driven generic stuff or a much more complex app called "simulator controller". However this got me thinking.. Pcars2 had an awesome feature called "race engineer" which would suggest setup changes based of answers you'd give. Technically ams2 has been built of Pcars2 and as alot of the modders would know there is a large chunk of residual files left within ams2's installation. What would be the hurdles reiza would have to negotiate to resurrect that feature? Could it be done relatively simple? Is the Infrastructure for that feature still within the games code? It is without a doubt one of my all time favourite features in a racing game (which is why I still have Pcars2 installed) I did do a quick setup with simulator controller but got numerous errors upon loading. I shall revisit that though to see if I could make it work. Iracing and acc seem to take all efforts for creating such apps/sites to accommodate setups. I'm a huge advocate for anything that helps guide "new to refined setups" players. Would love to hear your thoughts (especially Reiza's) on the race engineer feature but also any potential software that is out there which would work for ams2. Cheers and happy holidays!
