    Make a backup.
    Install RD mod pack.
Copy backup file over mod pack.

in every skinpack there is an xml file that can be edited.
For every replaced skin there is a 4 or 5 liner block to represent what to be done.
In the first line of every section there is an ID entry. e.g. "51" is the first livery in original AMS2, "52" the 2nd etc.
If you want to leave out some of the overridden parts, just delete the coresponding block in the xml, save and restart AMS2 again.
btw. For editing xml files my favorite is notepad ++, a free text editor
