Is there a reason the replay trackside camera does not automatically change to the next camera automatically in VR as it does when viewing a replay in desktop mode in order to watch a complete lap? I know it did when the beta was first released, but hasnt done so after the first or second update. It makes watching a replay as you would normally see in a broadcast a real pain. In order to watch a race, leaving VR to use the desktop version seems pointless.
Yea, I don't get it either. Trackside camera not changing positions has been reported many times now but still not working. You can hop to different positing with (I think) + and - key
The advantage is, that right now you can stay the whole race at one place if u would like to, just like you would be there in RL on trackside. And yes, you can use keyboard + and - to switch manually the position of trackside-cam, or lets better say „your“ standpoint. and again yes, an option to select automatic/manual mode in VR would be nice.
