Hi I wanted to reinstall AMS1, but i can not for the life of me remember how i originally purchased it - in my senility I have totally forgot because it is not in my steam, though i think* i remember it being via a download key Reiza provided per an email address or something? Anyone remember? I definitely was an early backer from GSC/SCE. The reason I came to want to reinstall it was because i had a mad dream I was IN the game as a little avatar driving an Opala 86 around some track, it was crazy. It was definitely in a game world but it and I was alive in the game world and so was the audience etc. So anyway, I decided I would like to revisit AMS1 and if possible back it up on a external HD to keep offline for you know, the zombie apocalypse, etc. Cheers.
Have you looked in your "hidden games" in Steam? View/Hidden Games from Steam menu. If you completely removed it from your library then from Steam menu select Help/Steam Support/Games, Software, etc and type Automobilista in the search field. Follow the prompts to restore it to your library. If neither of those work, then you probably have a key in an email when you signed up, but never added it to Steam. Good luck.
Thanks, I'll take a look at steam and investigate. Though i just realised if it was in steam, then i can't have an offline copy. Oh well. EDIT OMG it TOTALLY worked. It was previously removed from my account. And thanks to you, its now restored!
