Does anyone know why when racing against the AI there is always a AI car in the race not only with the same livery as mine (the players car) but also the same number? For example Sprint Race car with selected livery and number 73, during the race and on the replay I’m racing wheel to wheel with the exact same car livery and number. Never known this in any other Sim, I love AMS2 but this is an annoying feature and takes away from the immersion. I obviously understand there can be multiple cars in a race with the same livery but there should not be one with the same number. Any information is much appreciated, thanks.
liveries are not split into paintings and numbers, so you can't mix them. All fixed. The problem is, that the game does not verify how often a livery is used and thats why there could be races with more than once used liveries. As it was the same in PC1 and PC2, its not a bug. Its a feature
Yeah, it's immersion breaking to watch a replay of wheel to wheel action between 2 identical cars. I haven't heard any official response to Reiza addressing this, but I understand there are livery improvements on the roadmap, so we can only hope it is happens as part of that. Also immersion breaking, that I hope is changed soon - use of Steam handles as driver names. --l33tSn1perdude69-- doesn't sound legit as an F1 Champ.
