It's important to give a bit more detail to solve the issue. - Is your documents folder write locked for some reason (or respectively the Automobilista 2 documents folder, so not necessarily security settings but a simple checkmark in properties of the folders) - Does the car also appear always when you have loaded into a session with a different car - Have you tried renaming the Autombilista 2 folder in windows documents and starting on a fresh profile?
try actually loading onto the track with a different car, try a gt3 car for example, i experienced the same issue when selecting the f-usa 2023, when i loaded onto the track in the porsche GTE, the issue was resolved
On AMS2 docs folder right click -> properties -> on the bottom of the dialogue box there is a checkmark for write protection, check if it's empty. The issue is under investigation, i recommend trying what Roy recommended. Btw. i ask you again to avoid push posts, this will not get anything solved more quickly, thank you.
How did you resolve it? Might be good to know for the devs as well as other users that might face the same issue
I still have this issue - it always resets to stock car. Even just backing out to the main menu and then returning to the race menu will reset it.
I speculate that during a recent Windows Security Update, Windows Controlled Folder Access has been turned on for Windows users who had it disabled? You should check if Windows Controlled Folder Access has been turned on, and either add an exception for Automobilista 2 (this is the recommended solution), or disable Windows Controlled Folder Access completely, although the latter seems to reset itself every now and then with Windows Security Updates.
