Every time i start the game, i have to re assign my pedals. Older versions did not have this problem. After i set them up, i get a window that says failed to save, try to save again? And when i click yes, it pops up again,. The pedals are fine until I exit the game. Next time I launch, i have to re assign my pedals. Anyone else having this problem? I use seperate pedals, Act Labs brand. Am using the latest version of the game. I also tried uninstalling the game, and deleted all AMS2 folders, and reinstalling.
It is probably because of the Windows Defender setting. Controlled Folder Access is blocking AMS2 to write in Documents folder. You can disable it, or make Documents folder not protected, or allow AMS2 to write in folders.
My guess is that you have this folder - but are just looking the wrong place. I had the same problem when I posted that I had no ffb_custom_settings.txt in my Documents.
The folder you are looking for is "C:\Users\[yourname]\Documents\Automobilista 2". If you don't have that folder, it's probably because windows defender does not let the game write to that location, like Heitor said. In that case you need to follow Heitor's advice and change the windows defender settings accordingly.
