I have done a couple of sessions with the Sauber C9 at Spa 93, and came up with a setup that handles much better than the default one (IMO at least). I want to share it to some friends that have been frustrated with this car's handling, but I don't seem able to find the file for it. Went to Documents/Automobilista 2/savegame/XXXXXXX/automobilista 2/tuningsetups/ and all I see is some VTS extension files with weird names, nothing like how I named my setup. I wonder if one of those files is the setup I did? How can I share it, if that's even a possibility? Thanks in advance!
Hey. Sharing setups outside TT with the Madness Engine is a big PITA unfortunately. You have several encrypted files of one date/time, that are making a setup. You might find the right one by orienting after the date, but it's really not the best way to manage it indeed. So i think, this one might unfortunately remain a screenshot related thing for now.
Do some time-trailing, Your setup will be saved together with your TT-time and Ghost. Your friends (and everyone else in game) can download your setup for that track/car combination if they go in Time Trial and download your ghost.
Thank you for the replies. It is what I feared unfortunately, but it's good to know that there is at least something for it through Time Trial. Let's hope this is addressed by Reiza at some point. Just in case, I will upload the screenshots from the setup I done. Don't expect something groundbreaking, it's just something I did by tweaking some values to get the car to be more driveable and have fun with it.
Sorry to bring this back to life but . . . what a pain in the ass. I just searched/troubleshot forever trying to locate/force create svm files. Is there any way to actually do this to have drag/drop setups?
its impossible to identify the documents with car setups would love to delete some, in game it lets deletes but with new update it doesnt delete , also would be nice to have back the setups per track and not all tracks also a pain to scroll the setups to choose the right one hope Reiza Fix it.
