Simhub and Sim commander 4 feedback different pre and post pitstops

I have noticed that Simhub feedback for wheel slip is almost nothing in AMS 2 before a pitstop but after a pitstop it suddenly comes to life and starts giving feedback as you would expect.

Chatting with a couple of users of sim commander 4 it seems they are having the same issue so I think it must be something in AMS2. I mostly race FUltimate against AI but have noticed the issue is fully repeatable a bunch of tracks and certainly other open wheel cars.
