Has anyone successfully used it with AMS2? Though it's not totally necessary with AMS2 since you can have multiple controller profiles, if you switch wheels you still have to exit and restart the game for it to recognize the new wheel. Which isn't ideal per say in a online race. My issue is when trying to map the controls in-game using the phone option with the mapping tool, the game stops recognizing any button presses after I map the paddles. Like going to the second page where the pit limiter, headlights etc, it won't let me map anything else.
I use it, and love it Can’t remember having problems with the paddles though… But mapping buttons in AMS2 can be a bit troublesome sometimes… As a workaround, have you tried mapping everything else before mapping the paddles?
I've been doing some searching and have a couple of things I'm going to try again. Might be an issue with VJoy.
I use it, it is the most reliable way to get AMS2 to work when swapping wheels. I do occasionally have issues when using one wheel where the mapping seems to weirdly change on its own but works fine with my other wheels.
I had forgot to change the number of inputs in VJoy to 128, so I did that but I'm still having the same issue. Only thing left to try is to unplug all my USB devices then plug in just the sim racing stuff and try again.
I'm using it as well, no issues here. But I don't use VJoy, I have an arduino pro micro as a bridge (10 bucks on amazon) and that works perfectly with AMS2.
I may have to try that. I've been stubborn and haven't tried the control mapper with any other sim yet to see if it's just AMS2. I get frustrated easily and just walk away from the rig.
