I have a summary collection of things I've encountered over 2.5 years in AMS2. It is not about physics (I like its development). Someone from Reiza could read this - 1st point should not be hard to do, others are just notifications. 1) When classic GP point system will be added in SCORE_TYPE options? 10(or 9)-6-4-3-2-1 ??? ( 2 years no updates here). 2) When qualifying ends, I cross S/F line, session ends quite abruptly, should be there similarly to race some cooldown lap,mainly for AI cars to end their last lap (because some their laptimes suddenly appear in standings, when my car auto-drives to pits, but laptimes are not saved when session really ends and starting grid is shown)? 3) There is no pop-up info about race winner during a race. I would expect something like "[DRIVER NAME] has won the race" Such info is even present in qualifying session "[DRIVER NAME] has set the fastest lap", which is very well done. Maybe to show animation of driver "waving his hand up" at some point (visible at least in openwheelers, but it could work more or less at any car)? 3) I mentioned it once before - there is a bug in standings - car which has retired on the very last lap, is placed lower in standings than, say, car which finished +2, +3 laps down. Just to point out, you have two, point 3s. Point 1 I believe might be on its way. I think that your second point 3 is the correct way for race results to work. If you don't finish the race, you should not get points.
