Sound - audience and announcer during race weekend

    Hi,
    Could you place audience and announcer sounds during race weekend, please?
    That would increase the immersion big time!
    Just like you have it in Automobilista 1.

    Oh man.. I remember it in rFactor 2. It haunts me, lol. First time I was scared af, and it still scares me. I can't remember if it was in AMS 1. Maybe my brain has locked it away.

    The crowd ambient noises are present at some tracks but most don't have it. I cant recall which ones though. It is strange to be on the starting grid of a not-f1 race, and its totally silent.

    PCARS 2 had this even before ACC had it, just like pit crew radio, so it is not a limitation of the game engine. On the contrary, it was removed by Reiza.

    Would indeed be cool to hear Portugese echoing through the megaphones when entering a race session on one of the Brazilian tracks :)

    …but the most awesome of them all would be the over-the-top Japanese announcer at Kansai :D

    Yes,
    Yes, AMS has ambient and crow sounds: announcer_*.wav, fans_national_event_*.wav. AMS 2 should have too. It is so cool to hear crowd applause while I pass the front straight or when I drive close a grandstand.

    Yeah. I think I used to delete that. Also in Raceroom. It gives me scary cold goosebumps every time I heard it, hehe.
