The volume of kerb effects is much too high and extremely jarring. To get it to an acceptable level I have to turn it all the way down to 3%, but since that's tied in with tire volume, I then lose all tire sound. Reiza please take a look at this, it's a real immersion breaker!
@Brent Mills Pls write here what soundcard you are using, what windows version and check your sound card control panel / windows sound card control panel for settings. Example are you using 5.1 speakers, or perhaps have your card configured for 5.1 while your actual setup differs..
I have the same issues. Im using win10 64bit and logitech f430 headset with the surround on. G430 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset - Logitech ...so i can't use virtual surround in ams?
There is not much difference.. I guess its supposed to be loud? I also tested with my motherboards sounds from speakers and i get the same. Kurb sounds are really loud. this is my video, for example
Okay , it seems like I still have same issues dispite I made a new plr profile at some point. All levels down in 30% or so (because of the teamspeak balancing) and still the kurb sounds are way way too loud comparing to others.. i don't know, whats going on.. :/
Yes, I noticed this in Boxer Cup car. I lowered all volumes 50% to get Crew Chief better audible. Result: shifting sound in this car became way too loud compared to engine and everything else. I solved this by using Windows Audio Mixer to lower AMS volume 50% and put the in-game volume sliders back to default. That way shifting sounded correct again, and I could hear also Crew Chief. Seems some sounds are not affected by the sliders, it definitely is a bug. Also I think Master Volume slider would be very useful. If you are on Win10, here's how to adjust volume: Adjust volume for individual programs in Windows 10
Thank you for that tip! .. yeah the first thing is to add a master volume slider because that would clear most of the issues. then after that, fixing the bugs
