Am I not getting something here? The real GT3 cars in various series (look at just, Daytona) have a topspeed of around 330 Km/h. All GT3 cars in this game: 290 to 300 Km/h. Whats up with that?
So, you are implying they are too slow in game? I don't really pay attention to top speeds, but if you take Daytona for example, AMS2 GT3's are 3-4 seconds a lap quicker than IRL Or if you are driving the Lambo, like 5+ seconds quicker.
I think you're very mistaken, real GT3s barely get close to 300kmh at daytona IRL. For reference GTPs around daytona top at about 200mph, which is close to the 330kmh you mention, and they fly past gt3's around the oval section. Here's an IRL onboard:
The speed at those (and I watched some other ones) is not really what they did drive in the race yesterday: repeatedly I saw 200 (202) Mph come by for the GT3 cars. Specs online, of those GT3 cars are also around the 200Mph mark. The cars being faster in laptime in game, doesn't say all that much: that could be grip and/or weight. Okay, they don't drive 200Mph at a track like Zandvoort or similar, but Daytona? Yes, they do. Edit: those movie's, it almost seems like the BOP was not definitive yet
Iracing: AC: rf2: ams2: I don't wanna be rude, but if everybody seems to have the same speed... maybe you are mistaken.. also here: Rolex 24 car class breakdown for GTP, LMP2, GTD Pro and GTD cars
You are not rude and I could/can be mistaken, but I DID see it yesterday, not in a slipstream, more than once. And to be honest; the fact other GAMES do the same as this one, doesn't tell me all that much, right? Plus; look up the specs of those cars, the real ones: all around 200 mph. I tend to believe what the manufacturer says a whole lot more than 'a game'. And again; they don't get at those speeds on middle circuits, I get that, but Daytona is faster.
Mistaking KPH figures for MPH perhaps? Many racing cars, particularly those that are not exclusively made for the US market, will show speeds in KPH on their in-car displays. Although that's only ~125MPH so you'd see that speed exceeded constantly in a GT3.
Well, maybe I could, but it was an 24 hour race and I watched 18 hours of them; just a handful of times I saw that.......I don't think it is important enough for me to look back 18 hours of footage, I hope you understand. But; did you look up the real life specs? That is a lot less work and tells what I'm saying.
It was coming up to the busstop, right at the end. There would have been something wrong if it was only 200 kph No, I was not mistaken for kph or mph.
