Hello, the sensitivity of the steering wheel is at 50 and there is no way to change it, it goes back to 50, this is a big problem for me. Would anyone know if there is a file where this can be modified to 100? Thanks.
Maybe I can help. At least some upd back I also had this semi-bug. For me it was because I used to move the slider(the circular blob) with the mouse to change the value. If you instead use the 2 arrows to move/change the value then it does (hopefully) not go back. ByTheWay: 50 is the only value where the movement of the virtual wheel follows your plastic wheel 1:1 (= linear)
Just so you know, 50 sensitivity is linear, i.e. what you probably want with a proper steering wheel controller. Not sure what you're using and whether that's helpful or not. I read a post elsewhere on the forums where someone was having trouble with I think a different field in the UI and people suggested trying a different input method to set it - mouse or keyboard perhaps. Maybe that will help you.
You are completely right. And I think I have seen this answer somewhere - maybe recently. Ohh there it was
In general, the UI should explain the settings better. This is the type of information/explanation that the UI is sorely lacking.
Thank you all for your responses, I will have to try it that way. So I solved it, thank you very much.
Now I have a problem, the Caterham, F. Trainer and F. Vee cars are braked and I can't use them, has that happened to someone? I have deleted the cars and their folders, I have verified files and they are downloaded again, after that they work fine for a while and they stop again, it drives me crazy.
Thanks. Personally I dont understand why Reiza has not long time ago changed the menu word/label "Sensitivity" to what it should be instead. Like "Wheel Law" or maybe better "Wheel Linearity". ByTheWay: Setting the socalled "Sensivity" in the menu has absolutely nothing to do with the steering wheels sensitivity.
I do not know, in Spanish it is translated as sensitivity in the direction, the steering wheel is not named.
Ahh this is not as bad or misleading than just "Sensitivity". I mean "sensitivity in the direction" could probably also be translated to kinda "sensitivity of movement". At least if I use my positive glasses of your "sensitivity in the direction". But again I dont understand why they dont completely get rid of the word "Sensitivity" in that menu item.
